OPEN Health adopts oneNDA to increase efficiency through NDA standardization
Written on Thursday, June 30, 2022
OPEN Health prides itself on being innovative and forward-thinking across the organization, which is why we are excited to announce that we have added our name to the growing list of organizations supporting the oneNDA movement.
oneNDA is the world’s first universally standardized non-disclosure agreement (NDA) template, created by the international legal community with the aim of reducing legal work, speeding up the negotiation process and increasing transparency.
Although the oneNDA may not yet be suitable for all scenarios, we will be able to save substantial time and resources across the organization by cutting out unnecessary negotiations for preliminary engagements. Using oneNDA will allow OPEN Health to accelerate the contracting process and provide a more efficient service to our clients, enabling our business teams to get on with doing what they do best.
Alix Picard, OPEN Health’s Group Legal Counsel, commented, “The days of ten-page NDAs being reviewed and rigorously negotiated between parties before they even know whether they want to work together are finally coming to an end. By adopting oneNDA, my legal team can focus on the areas where they can add real value to the business, and our business teams can share their creativity and expertise to meet client needs quickly and with confidence. We are proud to lead the way in adopting this initiative in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector and look forward to seeing its uptake spread across our industry.”
