OPEN VIE – Finalists at the Communiqué Awards 2020
Written by Petra Westlake on Tuesday, June 23, 2020
At OPEN VIE, our Health Informatics team develop bespoke dashboards to create a ‘narrative’ to communicate the data insights to NHS payers and clinicians. They are often used to discuss the value proposition, including local burden, trends, comparators and scenarios.
We are delighted to announce that we are Finalists, not once but twice, in the Best Use of Data Visualisation category for ‘Suspicion of Sepsis (SOS) Insights Dashboard’ and ‘Vagal Nerve Stimulation – Presenting Complex RWD in an Impactful Way’ at this year’s Communiqué Awards!
The Communiqué Awards programme is specifically designed to recognise and commend excellence and best practice in European, international and local healthcare communications. The programme highlights the range and complexity of the issues facing healthcare communications professionals today and, against this backdrop, the extent to which outstanding work ultimately delivers real improvements in healthcare, enhances patient experience, builds trust with stakeholders and augments industry reputation.
Suspicion of Sepsis Insights Dashboard
We are very proud to have worked with Imperial College Health Partners to develop the ‘Suspicion of Sepsis (SOS) Insights Dashboard’ and since the tool’s creation last year, the Dashboard has continued to go from strength to strength with growing adoption and spread across the entire country. Including national endorsement from Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and included in the NHS Long term plan announcement for Sepsis.
Vagal Nerve Stimulation – Presenting Complex RWD in an Impactful Way
Our client wanted to demonstrate the inequality across England, in access to Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy. The target audience was Clinicians in secondary and tertiary care centres. This was the first time that that the customer base had seen real world data presented in such an impactful and meaningful way.
