On the pursuit of excellence in market research
Written by Neil Rees & Ed Senior on Tuesday, July 16, 2019
From 25th – 27th June Head of Research Neil Rees and Ed Senior the Sales Director attended the EphMRA Annual Conference in Warsaw. EphMRA is focused on driving excellence in healthcare market research, and their annual conference is attended by delegates from around the world.
We went to the conference to not only learn about the latest hot topics in the industry but as a chance to catch up with familiar faces and showcase the OPEN Health re-brand to clients new and old.
The primary purpose of the two-day meeting is to share knowledge. It’s a great opportunity to hear what advancements are happening in the MR industry, and also – importantly – what issues we all face and how by discussing collectively we can identify ways of working better to overcome these evolving challenges.
One of these challenges is artificial intelligence. It’s clear the industry is still at an early stage with how best to utilise the technology as it is still at a very theoretical stage and we are yet to see the impact it is having on a business intelligence function but it’s great to see such appetite for the difference it could make, and to see creative forward-thinking in action.
During the meeting we were delighted to see that as OPEN Health we have such a unique offering that goes way beyond research. Next year I’ll make sure I’m joined by my patient engagement colleagues to demonstrate some of the patient solutions and programmes we have developed to really make a difference to how patients can manage their disease.
We attend EphMRA every year and it’s such a worthwhile couple of days to keep our finger on the pulse of pharma MR and also to share our latest offering in the patient space and beyond.
If you missed us at EphMRA and would like to know more about OPEN Health’s insights team, please get in touch.
