Join OPEN Health at the PSI Scientific Meeting: Patient-focused drug development
The meeting will consider the importance of patient-centric input into regulatory and HTA decision-making, discuss the latest developments in the field, and present industry examples.
The first day will focus on selecting outcomes that matter to patients in evaluating clinical trial results. The speakers who will share their insights and practical advice include individuals from EMA and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as individuals working with HTAs and patients. During the second day, speakers from the pharmaceutical industry will present case studies assessing the importance to patients of improving symptoms in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and fatigue in multiple sclerosis, using discrete choice experiments.
The event will finish with a panel discussion, where experts will deliberate on key takeaways and future directions, as well as the role of the statistician in patient-focused drug development.
